Turning a near-perfect sphere without using a jig.

At the April 27, 2022 meeting member Steve Danner demonstrated turning a sphere using the octagon method.  The diagrams shown below shows the relationship between an octagon and a sphere.  This method is fully explained and demonstrated in an As Wood Turns video.
