Spheres and CA Finishes

Arnie will demonstrate his method of making a sphere.  He will utilize the fact that a sphere lives within an octagon. Then he will use the Soren Berger caliper,  simple math formula and calipers to shape an approximate sphere.   After some hand shaping he will use his self made sphere jig to complete the sphere.  He will place some octagon shaped blanks on the auction table to encourage other to give sphere making a try.   He will use a vacuum chuck for sanding and his finish of choice is CA.

Monthly meetings include a display of members turned items and a raffle.  Guest and members of the public are always welcome. 

A reminder:  The Elks Club serves a single entree meal for under $12 starting at 5:00.  They also have a full service bar.
