Monthly Meeting, Mike Mahoney

Professional turner Mike Mahoney will be the featured demonstrator.   He will turn a Valley Oak quarter sawn platter. Discussing how he cuts the wood out of the log to the finished item.

Mike Mahoney has been a professional wood turner since 1994. His bowls are featured in galleries across the United States. Mike's work is sought after by collectors all over the world. He is often requested to demonstrate and teach for wood turning clubs, craft schools and symposia. He has traveled around the world to discuss and demonstrate his craft. He is considered an authority in woodturning.

Monthly meetings include a display of members turned items and a raffle.  Guest and members of the public are always welcome. 

A reminder:  The Elks Club serves a single entree meal for under $12 starting at 5:00.  They also have a full service bar.
